DESIGNING THE FUTURE OF OFF‑ROAD RACING
17x national motocross championship. Extreme E racer. Stadium Super Truck racer. X Games medalist.
Sara Price has done it all. But she wanted more, and she needed design support to rebrand her look and feel by King of the Hammers.
Sara partnered with Jackson to help update her branding and "go big" with a more modern, consistent look while still maintaining the clean, innovative design of her current branding. It had been 10 years since Sara addressed her branding across all touchpoints (merchandise, racing suits, etc.), and it was time for a redo.
SOLUTION
FROM KICKOFF TO INSTAGRAM VOTING TO KING OF THE HAMMERS
First, Jackson needed to know Sara Price's likes, dislikes, wishes and dreams before we put pen to paper (or pen to tablet). We then brainstormed five branded look and feel options—all unique but all that fit under the Sara Price personality.
Our design packages included logos, race suit graphics, custom vehicle graphics, merchandise, swag and team gear. Sara and her team picked their favorites, then opened up feedback to Sara's Instagram followers.
Once Jackson gathered feedback from all parties, final deliverables included:
- Responsive logos to accommodate the unique imprint locations needed for an off-road racer (driver suits, race vehicles, etc.)
- Custom graphics for social media along with branding overlays for additional social content
- A 30-second video reel with custom animation and branding (with supplied footage from Sara)
